Chris Parks shot the in-camera fluid effects for Voyage of Time (2016, directed by Terrence Malick).
When Terrence Malick returned to some of the themes in The Tree of Life again used Chris and Peter's imagery. The film examines the origins of the universe, the birth of stars and galaxies and the beginning of life on Earth and the Chris Parks Art photography is used to support all of these subjects. These were literally chemical experiments we were doing, to see how various liquids, dyes, gasses and fluids might behave as we filmed them at high-speed.
